WHAT WE NEED TO DO

BluePrint Plan

1. Introduce/Explain the conflict scenario, our goals, target market, our limitations etc.

2. Explain the relevant research and how it influenced our design.

3. Analyze in detail and put into context related predecessors to our game.

4. Give a an overview of how our game differs from these games and traditional conflict resolving techniques. (subversive learning through humour etc.) IN DETAIL

4b. A clear set of working drawings showing how we developed our game and why we made certain decisions.

5. A prototype of the game, + illustrations showing the interactions... a walkthrough so to speak. Along with scenario and character layouts for future serials/ full game.

6. Future - Where, when and how can it be applied and why?

7. References, Bibliography and our contact details.

Additional things for the proposal

We need to explain what our application does in more explicit terms and expand on our aims for the application.

We need to map out how both the stories work and how the game interface works.

Precedents - Critical analysis of precedents

Preferred situations

How many choices in the game... 3 - 5...?

Research game play...

Sense of choices/conflicts available... rooms..? vague...?

Title for the game and characters etc..?

User groups - detail. Facebook limiting factor?

Detail other networking sites...

Cyberbullying PSA (zitface)

Came across this video on youtube.
I think its kinda along the lines of what we want to do, but I think the poster on the left has a good point in that it misses its mark.
Its from the Ad Council, a non profit organization that makes public service announcements on a whole range of topics.
